A bit about Virginia

To catch up I wanted to tell a little about our last 4 wonderful years we spent in Richmond while Eric was in dental school. I had never even been to the East Coast before so it was quite a change to go from desert to green and to experience a little of the south. We lived in a little cape cod style house that was a fixer-upper so we spent a lot of our time working on it. Our neighborhood was pretty close to the dental school so if you were lucky you might catch Eric riding his longboard to school in a shirt and tie.....Yes, thats my husband. Our neighbors were awesome and I think they loved having us as the only white folks on the block.

Carter Mountain Orchard where we would go to pick apples and eat apple cider doughnuts.

Eric became an avid body-boarder. These guys went boarding and surfing all year round so they all bought full wetsuits, gloves and hoods. Check out the ninjas.

Eric surprised me one year for our anniversary and we stayed at the Jefferson Hotel.

Charleston, South Carolina, my new favorite city. If you haven't been there you should go. It has everything we love: old architecture right on the coast with delightful restaurants and fun shopping.

I survived my first sprint triathalon thanks to my friend Turia. It was in Dewey Beach, Delaware.

Williamsburg, VA.

While Eric kept busy studying and working in peoples mouths I decided to keep busy myself so I finished school at VCU. I studied exercise science and worked as a personal trainer the last two years right up until Eva was born. I guess I moved around a little too much during my pregnancy because now Eva likes to be moving constantly. After being exausted from bouncing her we rushed to the store and bought her a swing. She only likes it on full-blast- what would normally scare most babies.

Nerd, I know but I had to show that I worked, not just played.

It was a pretty busy past 3 months. Eva was born, we sold our house and 2 cars, Eric graduated and we moved across the country. Here are some pictures of graduation, the formal dinner with Eric's class, and Eric at the dental school working on Reuben, who came in a couple years ago needing a whole mouth makeover. Eric completed all of his work a couple weeks before graduation. I'm proud to say that my husband changed this guy's life just by doing his dental work.

We made it to our new home

Hello Family and Friends,

We thought that now would be a good time to start blogging since we have moved and our friends and family are spread from California to Virginia. Thanks to Cristi and Brooks we figured it out- we're not too blog savvy.

We moved to Boise, ID 3 weeks ago and Eric has started working as an associate dentist in a practice that he loves. Eva is loving life and making us smile all the time! We miss our friends from VA, but we like our new home. Soon we will add more pictures and details.
